General security:

A traditional burglar alarm responds to motion or physical damage breaking a circuit. All too often when it is triggered at 2am it is a false alarm - ruining your day and, when on a security call out contract, costing you hundreds of dollars in false alarms. If there is a break-in the thieves often get away because of the delay in responding to the call out, and there is no record of who did it.

With new age Office-CCTV (Closed Circuit Television) those hang-ups are a thing of the past. Consider this scenario. A burglar break into your premises (whether it be your home, office or factory). It is dark and they know exactly what they are looking for. The cameras installed by us are active 24/7 and can monitor a high degree of detail in any light.

The cameras pick up the motion and immediately the system moves to record up to 25 pictures per second. This footage is captured to a local computer where the digital video archive is stored. At the same time a remotely located bureau, who's services you are paying a few dollars per week to monitor your cameras, is alerted by a warning signal displayed across the video footage being sent to them in real time through the Internet. With a simple click of the mouse they are able to activate all the lights in the area being burgled and all the while the cameras are recording. The bureau can contact the police, security and you in the event there is a break-in taking place, cameras on the outside can record details of the getaway vehicle. And, no more false alarms.

Whether the intruder be a staff member not interested in working overtime but something more sinister or a thief everything will be caught on film. CCTV is a fantastic deterrent and it does not give a thief any lead time.

Stock Control:

Stock control is one of those nightmare areas in which thousands of dollars can be lost each week. These losses can be through claims by clients that their order was not filled correctly or through pilfering by staff or customers.

There is nothing like video footage to cement a reality check when resolving theft related issues.

In the case of despatch, a video camera recording each delivery being packed, with the time recorded on the despatch documentation matching the time on the video provides irrefutable evidence of just what was sent to the client. If your packer did not put in the correct quantity you can check this by tracking down the video sequence within seconds by using the date and time from the software options to call up that exact video sequence on your office computer. Within minutes you can respond to your client's complaint, apologise and fast track the missing items.

If, however, the correct quantity was packaged you can email your client a video clip showing his order being filled. Powerful stuff - in at least one case we are aware of a client being alerted to the fact that one of his staff was lifting stock after it arrived at their office but before they had processed the order!

When you consider that a large hard disk can store several days of footage you can see how valuable this option becomes!

In the case of staff management and general pilfering by the public video footage from well placed but discrete cameras can be viewed by you in real time with up to 16 camera signals being displayed on just one computer screen. If an event is taking place the person monitoring the cameras can bring that image to full screen size and, while the event is being automatically recorded, alert staff on the premises of what is taking place. Furthermore with the PZT (pan, zoom and tilt) cameras the remote operator can zoom right into an event to improve the recording being made to hard disk.

Very useful in a court room - as any petty thief would know and, therefore, a great deterrent!

Shift workers::

If you have an office or factory which never sleeps you are not only able to record the events that occur while you are off the premises but you are also able, when using two monitors on your home computer, to view in real time the video from your office through your web browser while using other applications on the computer through the second monitor (see below).

Watch your office in real time on one monitor while you work on the other (at home)!

If staff are not performing or there is trouble all you need to do is record the time and within seconds call up the related video sequence from your computer archive when you return to work the next day. In extreme cases you can use our software to record footage to your computer at home.

Monitoring the performance your fleet of vehicles:
When your drivers are out delivering goods their movements and deliveries can be monitored and viewed later if there has been a problem or deliveries go missing. If you are concerned about a particular driver's performance this can be effectively monitored as well. This is an inexpensive way of dramatically improving the efficiency of your drivers. Cameras can be placed in the roof of the driver's cabin looking out onto the road ahead and another camera at the back where goods are handed over to clients. A secure box to hold the digital recording device can also be installed in each of your vans. Just one recording device is required for a fleet of vehicles giving you great cost savings as the drivers are never sure which vehicle you have installed it in and whose movements are being monitored.

The digital video footage can be viewed later in your offices on another machine and any events that have occurred will be clearly visible to you. This footage also contains audio so that interaction such as discussions between driver and pickup can be replayed.
